- Thursday 8th March: Girl's Night Out, Jodrell Bank
Coinciding with International Womens’ Day 2018, Girl's Night Out is perfect for anyone interested in the science of space exploration. The event will include an inspiring introductory talk and a Q&A session with Sue Horne MBE from the UK Space Agency. Interactive activities include ‘The Dangers of Space Travel’ and the chance to discover some actual meteorites! This event is aimed at adults and children aged 12+

- Saturday 16th June, 11am - 4pm: University Community Festival, Manchester Museum
A way to discover the variety of things we do here at the University of Manchester. Visitors will be able to go behind the scenes to find out all about our work and get hands-on with a variety of fun and exciting activities. There will be the opportunity take part in live experiments, interactive demonstrations, musical and dramatic performances and the chance to meet our staff and scientists.
