SEES hosts a series of careers events covering all aspects of the hydrocarbon industry. The events are aimed at SEES postgraduate and final year undergraduate students. The following companies have confirmed dates to present their career opportunities and graduate programmes.

Awards for academic achievement enhance your CV and help you stand out from the crowd. The following section provides detail on recent and currently applicable awards available to students of SEES.

The Neftex Earth Model Award for best MSc/MSci/MGeol Project 2014-15

Now in its fourth year, with support from the Geological Society of london, the Neftex Earth Model Award is now open for entry!

The purpose of the award is to stimulate research relevant to global geoscience. This is an opportunity to present your research to a panel of industry and academic professionals and for you and your department to gain recognition for your work.

Registration is now open!

You must be a UK-based geoscience student currently working towards a Master's degree in Earth Sciences and your project should be applicable to integrated global geoscience. Your project should be applicable to integrated global geoscience. You need to register your interest by 1st June 2015 and submit your final project by 28th September 2015.
